At Polands we want to ensure that the delivery of your new furniture goes as smoothly as possible, so you can enjoy your order from the moment it arrives.

Local delivery service

Our free local delivery service covers postcode prefixes BN, PO, RH and GU. Local deliveries are 'white-glove' whereby we offer to place the item where you would like, make sure the item is working properly, perform any reasonable assembly tasks and remove the packaging. Our team are very accommodating and will move items to another room or your garage.

The local delivery service also offers disposal of old items on a like-for-like basis for a £20 charge - all items are recycled where possible. Alternatively, we could deliver your old items to a relative or friend if they live nearby.

We also offer a flat-pack wardrobe assembly service which is either £30 or £50 depending on the wardrobe size - all wardrobes will be free-standing and not fixed to the wall.

Once your goods are available we will contact you to arrange a mutually convenient delivery date offering timed windows within morning or afternoon. Our preferred delivery days are Tuesdays and Fridays.

Collection from our Worthing store is possible during our opening hours Monday to Saturday 9:00 to 17:30.

Non-local deliveries

If you live outside these postcode areas our non-local delivery service will be charged at £50 - this applies to mainland England and Wales only. The disposal of old items and assembly service is not available - at the moment. The third party delivery service is professional and experienced - they will arrange the delivery time with you.

Access

Before ordering an item please make sure the item will fit into the room and that access to that room, through doorways, hallways and stairways, are wide and tall enough for it to pass through.  Accurate dimensions for each item can be found under the “Information” tab for that item. Please note it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that it is practical to deliver to the desired location. Speak to us if you are in doubt as to whether your chosen item will get through to your room - for local deliveries we can offer a free trial delivery or site survey at the time you place your order. If the trial / survey concludes that the item is not going in - you are free to reselect or have a refund. If windows or doors need to be removed or the goods taken over a balcony we can arrange this for you but costs must be agreed in advance.

Please remember that some sofas can be delivered in sections - particularly if reclining options have been selected. Similarly recliners are invariably delivered with the backs off. Large items (such as wardrobes, dining tables and display units) are usually delivered in parts.

Lead times

Please note the expected delivery date quoted at the time of your order is based on the current information available. Whilst we always make every effort to honour this date, it is an estimate only. We cannot accept claims for compensation resulting from overdue orders outside of our control. If the availability time frame is too long - please let us know as we have not included stock items on our website.

Delivery problems

If you find you are unable to accept a delivery on an arranged day, notification is required at least one day prior. If you fail to cancel a delivery - we reserve the right to apply a redelivery charge.

Any claim regarding shortages or damaged merchandise must be advised to the driver at the time or within a reasonable period by contacting us. Damage caused to your property during delivery must be notified to the driver before he leaves your premises.

Storage

If you are not in a position to accept delivery - please be reassured that we can store your order in our warehouse. We do not charge you for storage but would request you keep us informed as to your predicted timescale for delivery and ensure that any outstanding balance on your account has been cleared.
